The Wonderful World of Bacon Jam
For the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with bacon jam, we are essentially talking about bacon of the spreadable variety… And just like that, my mouth is watering.
Key ingredients include smoked bacon, garlic, onions, coffee and maple syrup. The smoky yet sweet flavour combination and jammy consistency make this the ultimate food – just perfect with cheese, fresh bread, on burgers, or - if throwing caution (and etiquette) to the wind - straight out of the jar.

A number of fabulous foodies and celebrities are on the proverbial bacon jam bandwagon, which shows no signs of slowing down, as it continues on its transatlantic domination. Sarah Jessica Parker is a fan, it was featured on The Jonathan Ross Show and award-winning blogger Niamh Shields created a recipe for Whiskey Bacon Jam that has been immensely popular.
Bacon jam is already famous amongst the food interested and I have a sneaking suspicion that those two scrumptiously simple words will become a permanent fixture of everyday vocabulary in the not too distant future. What a delicious prospect!
