Some of the previous Diablo Supperclub experiences

Previous Experiences

  • Winter Winners at the Waitrose Cookery School

The prize for the six lucky winners of the Winter competition was an afternoon for them and their partners at the brand new Waitrose Cookery School in North London. Firstly, the group learnt more about wine tasting with our resident expert Ray O'Connor who guided them through the different wine-growing regions of Chile and ran through a tasting of Casillero del Diablo wines, comparing the different varietals.
The winter supper club was amazing! It was the sort of thing we'd always talked about doing but had never got around to organizing. We are very pleased to say the whole day exceeded our expectations, the wine tasting was great fun, the food was delicious and the Cube and Waitrose staff were the perfect compliment to the day. Just wish we could do it more often!

  • Ten friends enjoy an evening at Brook Hall Cookery School

The winner of the summer Diablo Supper Club competition won a prize to treat nine of their friends to an evening of fine wine and cooking. After enjoying a wine tutorial by Wine Educator Ray O’Connor, the group went on to create a delicious three course menu. Stephen Bulmer, Head Chef at Brook Hall Cookery School, previously Chef/Director of the Raymond Blanc Cookery School at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, guided them through.
“Thank you to Diablo Supper Club for the fantastic event in Brook Hall. We found Ray’s wine tutorial very informative and the cookery lesson was entertaining. We have enjoyed thoroughly the experience in Brook Hall.”

  • The first competition winners enjoy an unforgettable foodie experience

Five lucky winners of our first ever competition won the opportunity for them and a friend to be learn from the experts how to create their own perfect supper club. Spending a day at L’Atelier des Chefs, chef Andy helped our winners whip up a gastronomic feast for summer whilst wine expert Ray O’Connor was on hand to guide them through the finer points of wine tasting.
“We had a wonderful time in London as part of our prize, meeting the other winners and spending a fun evening learning more about food & wine matching, whilst knocking up a delicious supper of our own with Diablo wines to match.”
    Deanna Thomas, Spring Competition Winner.
  • The Diablo SupperClub launches!

To celebrate the launch of the Diablo Supper Club we invited some friends to the glamorous L’Atelier des Chefs in central London to enjoy some great food and stunning Casillero del Diablo wines. To add a bit of a twist, and ensure our guests could get their hands dirty, we got them slaving away in the kitchen too, re-enacting their own supper club.
