Ten friends enjoy an evening at Brook Hall Cookery School
The winner of the summer Diablo Supper Club competition won a prize to treat nine of their friends to an evening of fine wine and cooking. After enjoying a wine tutorial by Wine Educator Ray O’Connor, the group went on to create a delicious three course menu. Stephen Bulmer, Head Chef at Brook Hall Cookery School, previously Chef/Director of the Raymond Blanc Cookery School at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, guided them through. Consisting of a mushroom tart with poached quail eggs to start, followed by roast lamb with a herb crust and a selection of souffles and sorbet to finish, all matched to the best fitting Casillero del Diablo wine.
“Thank you to Diablo Supper Club for the fantastic event in Brook Hall. We found Ray’s wine tutorial very informative and the cookery lesson was entertaining. We have enjoyed thoroughly the experience in Brook Hall.”
Victoria and Christopher Ashley, summer competition winners
